Day 1: Saigon
Delve into the excitement of Vietnam after arriving in bustling Saigon, and meet your fellow travellers and Tour Leader (or local guide).

Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnels
Venture to Cu Chi and discover the incredible network of underground tunnels. Take in Saigon’s most impressive sites and landmarks as you explore the city centre on a walking tour. Relax with a cocktail as you watch the evening lights come to life over Saigon.

Day 3: Mekong Delta
From Saigon, travel south to the Mekong Delta and board your cruise boat, Mekong Eyes. On a walking tour through a rural village, gain a glimpse into local life before returning to the boat for sunset and dinner.

Day 4: Mekong Delta to Saigon
Continue exploring the tributaries and canals of the Mekong Delta. Marvel at the vibrant scenes at the authentic floating market before returning to Saigon, where you have the evening at leisure to discover the city at your own pace.

Day 5: Saigon to Dalat
An early flight takes you to Dalat, a former French hill station, which is a mix of faded French elegance and unique local character. Enjoy beautiful mountain scenery on the drive to a Zen monastery which features a delightful garden. Take an open-air train to a quaint hamlet before ending the day wandering through the central market, an experience that will awaken your senses.

Day 6: Dalat to Hoi An
Fly from Dalat to Danang, then drive to Hoi An. Enjoy some free time before exploring the old town on a walking tour. The evening is free for you to explore Hoi An’s lively dining scene, or you may want to take part in an optional hands-on cooking class.

Day 7: Hoi An
Enjoy a free day to do as much or as little as you like in Hoi An.

Day 8: Hoi An to Hue
Enjoy some more free time in Hoi An before travelling to the former imperial capital of Hue, via the spectacular Hai Van Pass. Drive a short distance to a nearby local village and spend the evening sampling some regional dishes with a local family in Hue.

Day 9: Hue City Tour
Visit some of Hue’s most famous sites including Emperor Tu Duc’s tomb, Imperial Palace and Citadel. Visit the Spiral Foundation which employs people with disabilities who make souvenirs from 100% recycled materials.

Day 10: Hue to Hanoi
Fly to Hanoi and take a walking tour through the fascinating Old Quarter. Venture deep into the backstreets to visit some local markets and specialty food stores to try some local dishes. A highlight is drinking locally-brewed beer at a traditional ‘Bia Hoi’ establishment.

Day 11: Hanoi to Halong Bay
Drive east to Halong City and board your private junk boat to explore the magnificent bay.

Day 12: Halong Bay to Hanoi
Rise early to make the most of Halong Bay’s stunning scenery as the sun rises. Continue your exploration of the bay while enjoying a delicious seafood lunch before returning to Hanoi in the afternoon. The evening is free for you to explore the city at your own pace.

Day 13: Hanoi City Tour
Discover Hanoi’s must-visit sites including Ho Chi Minh Quarter, House on Stilts, Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda.
