Camping, Asia and luxury are not typically synonymous.

However, Thailand’s Elephant Hills Rainforest Camp in Khao Sok is blazing an eco-tourism trail with an brand new camp of en-suite safari tents catering for the traveller seeing adventure whilst retaining an element of luxury.

Nestled in the mountainous scenery of Kao Sok national park, guests can choose from 10 en-suite luxury safari tents that are idyllically float on the bank of Cheow Lake offering breathtaking views in peacefully remote surroundings.

Leading the way in regional eco-tourism the camp uses a state-of-the-art waste management system and all electric is generated using solar and wind power meaning the tents have a minimal impact on the surrounding rainforest and its delicate ecosystem.

Alongside more atmospheric pleasures like waking up to the sound of calling gibbons or watching the morning mist clear from the epic mountain scenery from your private balcony, guests can also get more involved with their surrounding.
